HAPPENING NOW:
Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Our team members are recognizing October as a month to bring awareness to breast cancer and support fellow team members who may be fighting this disease, along with celebrating those who are survivors. As part of Altair's Healthy — Wealthy — Wise program, team members are provided resources to encourage early detection, as well as virtual backgrounds and "Wear Pink" Fridays to show solidarity and support.
Our team members got busy with Lunch & Learns, conferences and holiday festivities these past few months! Take a look at some of the events from Q3 below.
We had the pleasure of connecting with the Frisco Chamber of Commerce and Frisco Young Professionals in August, where team members participated in a Lunch & Learn to discuss ways of getting connected as a young professional.
Altair Global's Tim Rambo, Allyson Stewart, Trapper Pace and Kelly Tepera got to catch up with Adam Lowy, Founder and Executive Director at Move For Hunger, during the Great Lakes Relocation conference.
Our Frisco headquarters enjoyed a traditional 4th of July lunch featuring hot dogs, cupcakes, drinks and raffle prizes, thanks to our gracious hosts and supplier partners, PrimeLending and Fidelity Investments!
Karen Leleux and Kathryn Cassidy attended The City House Gala in Dallas along with other Altair team members, raising funds for City House, a nonprofit whose goal is to protect and empower children and young adults experiencing abuse, neglect or homelessness.
Altair team members and clients attended The Lunch by Goodwill Industries of Dallas in early October. With the help of two supplier partners, we were able to help raise more than $1.4-million for Goodwill Dallas to help people with barriers to employment to change their lives, one job at a time.
